Broccoli Salad Recipe
Cauliflower with Broccoli Salad
What You Need:
- I large head cauliflower
- 1 large bunch broccoli
- 1 small onion
- I packet frozen pea pods
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- I cup sour cream
- I tsp garlic powder
How to Make It:
- Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and garlic powder in a small bowl
- Break cauliflower and broccoli in bite sized florets
- Add onion
- Toss sauce with broccoli, cauliflower
- Add peas
- Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight
Broccoli Casserole Recipe
Broccoli Casserole
What You Need:
- 1 7-ounce can of mushrooms, drained
- 1 10- ounce package broccoli
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It:
- Cook broccoli according to package directions, remember to salt water
- Drain broccoli well
- Mix broccoli, beaten eggs, drained mushrooms, mayonnaise and shredded cheese
- Pour into greased casserole dish or pie plate
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes
Broccoli Cheese Soup Recipe
Broccoli Cheese Soup
What You Need:
- 2 cups Fresh Broccoli
- 1 pint or 8 tbsp heavy cream
- 10 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ½ stick butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It:
- Boil Broccoli in a large pot of water until very tender
- Drain reserving ½ cup of water that the broccoli was cooked in
- Return broccoli to pot
- Add water, butter and soup.
- Stir well until the soup is mixed well
- Use a hand potato masher and mash contents of the pot
- Add cream and cheddar cheese
- Over a medium heat, bring to boil
Chicken and Broccoli Recipe
Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
What You Need:
- 1 pound chicken
- 8 broccoli flowerets
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken stock
- 12 ounces cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp French fried onions
- 3 tbsp bacon bits
- 1 ½ teaspoons curry powder
How to Make It:
- Boil and debone chicken
- Boil broccoli and drain
- Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, chicken stock and curry powder
- Arrange shredded chicken on bottom of casserole dish followed by broccoli
- Pour mayonnaise mixture over the chicken and the broccoli
- Layer cheddar cheese followed by onions and bacon
- Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 25 minutes
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve
