Vitamin A is necessary for the immune system. It may help prevent the growth of cancer cells especially that of skin and breast cancer. The retina of the eye needs vitamin A. And drinking carrot juice or adding carrot to your diet is necessary for good eyesight. Deficiency in vitamin A will lead to poor vision and night blindness. It also helps in bone metabolism. Carrot juice is good for pregnant women as it help with embryonic development. It also reduces the risk of your baby from developing jaundice. And it helps increase the production of breast milk. Carrots also contain dietary fiber. This is good for your bowel movements and in the prevention of constipation. The nutrients in carrots also function as a cleanser. Get a few carrots and wash them thoroughly. Cut to smaller pieces. Put them in your food processor. Drain it.
