Another one of the benefits of taking alfalfa is that it is known to work really well with hair growth, and therefore it is an excellent remedy for hair loss and balding.


Because alfalfa has been shown to be able to lower blood sugar levels, it also can serve as a great treatment for diabetes. Yet another use of alfalfa is, it is known to work well at lowering cholesterols levels.


There are also some potential side effects of alfalfa usage. For example, you must be careful not to use excessive amounts of alfalfa. The reason for this is that it may cause one's red blood cells to break down which could have very dire consequences. Also, if you are a pregnant woman, you should avoid taking alfalfa because of the potential harm that it could cause your fetus.
